Serenity Builders, Inc. began in 2004 as a sole proprietorship and incorporated in 2015. With the vision of providing peace of mind for renovation needs, Serenity Builders quickly became recognized for its quality, attention to detail, and hassle-free collaboration. Owner, Ken Dawes has a passion for helping his clients achieve their dreams when it comes to both residential and commercial renovations.

Having graduated from the Sturgeon Creek Vocational Drafting Program and Red River College for Carpentry, Ken has over 20 years of experience in various trades.  From concrete to cabinetry, he and his team have a wide breadth of knowledge and skills to ensure a stress-free environment for each and every project.

Ken and his wife have lived in Winnipeg for over 30 years.  They have two beautiful daughters with whom they enjoy camping, travelling, and spending time together as a family.  In his spare time, Ken also partakes in outdoor activities including golf, fishing, and hiking.
